Booking, payment & cancellation
Written fee terms
Before the session, every party receives a written explanation of fees and costs, as Florida's mediator rules require. Fees never depend on whether the case settles.
Session length
Sessions are booked in time blocks. Private sessions carry the minimum stated in your confirmation. Time beyond the booked block is billed at the same hourly rate.
Payment & deposits
To hold your date, we require a deposit or payment as stated in your confirmation. Payment is due before the session and can be made online through our secure payment portal.
Cancellation & rescheduling
Please give at least the notice stated in your agreement to mediate to cancel or reschedule. Late cancellations and no-shows may be charged for the reserved time.
Travel & location
In-person sessions take place in Sarasota, Manatee, and DeSoto counties. The location and any travel costs are confirmed when you book. Zoom sessions, available statewide, have no travel costs.
Confidentiality
Fee and payment information is handled privately. Online payments are processed by a third-party processor, so Iron City ADR never sees or stores full card numbers.
