Jeff Nungesser founded Iron City ADR to give policyholders, insurers, businesses, and individuals a straightforward, professional way to resolve disputes outside the courtroom, with a particular focus on insurance claims. He is a Florida Supreme Court Certified County Mediator (Certificate No. 45987 C) and serves as a volunteer staff mediator for the Twelfth Judicial Circuit's court mediation program.

Jeff entered the insurance industry in 2010 and founded his own insurance agency in 2012. He built and led the agency until he sold it in 2026. Over more than 15 years in the industry, he worked with policies, coverage questions, claims, and the people on every side of them. He also handled the everyday work of running a business: negotiating agreements, managing client relationships, and solving problems when things didn't go as planned.

Jeff holds Florida insurance licenses in General Lines (Property & Casualty), Life (including Variable Annuity) and Health, and as an All-Lines Adjuster. This background helps him follow the details of an insurance dispute, such as policy terms, estimates, and how claims are handled, so the parties can spend their time on resolution rather than explanation.

Every dispute has a business side and a human side. A good mediation makes room for both.

As a mediator, Jeff's role is to stay neutral, listen carefully, keep discussions productive, and help each side understand its options. He doesn't take sides, represent anyone, give legal advice, or decide the outcome. The parties decide whether and how to settle.

Jeff mediates by Zoom in every Florida judicial circuit and in person in the Twelfth Judicial Circuit (Sarasota, Manatee, and DeSoto counties). He is currently pursuing Florida Supreme Court Circuit Civil Mediator certification, which he expects to complete in December 2026. Until then, Iron City ADR focuses on county civil matters.
